ARE THE ONLINE COURSES FREE?

Yes. The courses are free of charge and open to all Tennessee law enforcement.


Have your agency training coordinator email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov to request access to the Acadis training portal. Tell us how many people need access to our course catalog and what the agency email domain is, if there is one (ex: @tn.gov).

HOW DO I SET UP AN AGENCY PROFILE?

Refer to the TBI LEARN user guide for instructions on selecting a course and downloading a certificate.


WHAT IS MY USERNAME?

Internal TBI employees will use the Single Sign-On option.

For external users, your username is your work email address. Do not register with a personal email address. If your agency does not provide you with an email address, have your training manager contact us.


WHAT IF MY EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED?

Do not create a second account. Please email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov and and we will update your user profile.

WHAT IF I HAVE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT AGENCY?


Internal TBI employees will use the Single Sign-On option.

For external users, your account will lock out after 3 incorrect login attempts. If you are unsure of your password, click the reset password link. You will receive an email with instructions. If your account becomes locked, you will need to email tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov to unlock it.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. HOW DO I RESET IT?


WILL I RECEIVE POST CREDIT FOR THIS COURSE?

You will earn POST credit for the courses in our POST-approved catalog. The course description will show the number of credit hours. You will receive an email when you complete the course. You are responsible for submitting the paperwork to POST. If you do not know the POST number for the course, you can find it here.


MY SCREEN IS FROZEN OR BLANK. WHAT DO I DO?

We recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to view the courses. Try logging out or switching Internet browsers to see if the course will continue. If it does not, please take a screenshot of your issue and email it to tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov.


The information for the certificate is pulled from the information you enter when you register as a user. If your name has been misspelled, please email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov and we will update your account for you.
